  • Most recently was EVP Corporate Affairs and General Counsel of Tahoe Resources Inc. where she headed the Legal, Sustainability and Government Affairs Departments.
  • Since 2006 Edie has worked alongside rural and indigenous communities in India, Peru, Guatemala and Canada to enhance food, work and water security.
  • Serves as the Vice Chair of the International Bar Association’s Business and Human Rights Committee, a group dedicated to promoting high ESG standards in multi-national corporations.
  • Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from UCLA, a Master of Arts degree in international peace studies from the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco.
Murray John, P.Eng. MBA

  • Chairman of Discovery Metals Corp., director of Osisko Gold Royalties, Ltd and O3 Mining Inc.
  • Previously, President and CEO, Dundee Resources Limited, Managing Director and a Portfolio Manager with Goodman Investment Counsel.
  • Served as President and CEO of Corona Gold Corporation and Ryan Gold Corp., and former director of several other mineral resource focused public companies.
  • Involved with the resource investment industry since 1992 and as an investment banker, buy-side mining analyst, sell-side mining analyst and portfolio manager.

  • Played a key role in the discovery of the diamondiferous Repulse Bay (Qilalugaq) and Amaruk kimberlite fields.

  • Professional geologist, a Qualified Person, over 25 years of experience in mine production, exploration, mine start-up and advanced projects at world class operating mines, brownfield and greenfield situations in Canada, the United States, Peru and Chile.
  • Most recently was Chief Geologist for Taseko Gibraltar Mines Ltd. responsible for managing geology, geotechnical, de-watering, grade control, reserve reconciliation and conversion, exploration, performance standards, QA/QC for both production and exploration.
  • Highly experienced manager of Latin American exploration and operating teams, prior positions include: Exploration Manager for Teck Resources Limited for Chile and Argentina based in Santiago; Exploration Manager for Newmont Mining Corp. at Minera Yanacocha in Peru; and Senior Mine Geologist at Antamina Mine in Peru for Compania Minera Antamina SA.
  • Scott holds a B.Sc. Geology degree from University of Alberta.

Governance

Prime Mining Corp. is committed to implementing sound corporate governance to ensure the corporation is directed and managed openly and fairly, in accordance with high ethical and legal standards.

Good governance will ensure the Board of Directors and Management conduct their business affairs and carry out overall responsibilities by providing accountability, transparency and sound decision making, key components to ensure that the interests of the Company and its stakeholders are properly aligned.

Prime Mining’s corporate governance framework outlines the Board and its Committees responsibility, and is regularly reviewed to ensure compliance and best practices.

Prime Mining has six directors, four of whom are independent.
